Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee our pharmacy operations and lead our
team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The Retail Pharmacy Supervisor will be responsible
for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of patient care, and promoting a positive
customer experience. Must have a Bachelor's or Pharm D. degree from a school
of Pharmacy. Excellent organizational, drug information, third-party billing, communication, and
technical skills. Must have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and people service skills with
the ability to also function in a clinical capacity to adequately address medication therapy
management concerns. Must be comfortable with autonomy and resiliency, able to self motivate,
willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to drive process improvement.
Essential Functions
Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations,and company policies.
Monitor pharmacy workflow and staffing levels to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Train and mentor pharmacy staff on pharmacy procedures, customer service, and medication management.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to pharmacy team members.
Collaborate with pharmacy management to develop and implement strategies for improving
pharmacy performance and customer satisfaction.
Resolve customer complaints and medication-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering medications and supplies, conducting inventory audits, and minimizing excess stock.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in accordance with pharmacy regulations and best practices.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation, including prescription files, patient profiles, and inventory logs.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs as required.Program Supports
On a rotating basis, facilitate MANDT and other behavioral health trainings.
Participate as an active member of the Behavioral Health team, including supervision sessions, sharing observations with team members, and attending staff meetings and trainings.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited
pharmacy program.
Active Indiana state license Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a pharmacist in a
retail pharmacy setting, with demonstrated leadership experience
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.Ability to work autonomously with little direction; solutions oriented
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
This position operates in a pharmacy retail setting
This position is full-time. Typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, days.
